NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde's Sexual Health Website

Sandyford Central is based at 2/6 Sandyford Place, Sauchiehall St, Glasgow, G3 7NB. Tel: 0141 211 8130.  Our most popular service is the Walk-In clinics as you don't need to have an appointment. This clinic is often busy and you can usually expect to have to wait to be seen, however we also have a range of specialist clinics in sexual, reproductive and emotional health services where you can book an appointment in advance. Have a look at our video - it tells you what we do and what to expect when you visit.

Ever wondered how many units of alcohol you drink or how many calories are in your favourite tipple? Are you concerned it may be an issue? Use our Alcolator to calculate how many units you drink, then use the Alco-check to see whether its a safe amount or not. If you're worried about your score, free confidential Alcohol Brief Interventions are available at Sandyford Central.

Support and practical tips are available to help parents feel prepared to talk to their children about growing up, relationships and sexual health. Contact Talk 2 -  if you live in the Glasgow city area. For other areas (Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire) please look at www.sandyford.org/parents.

Sexual Health Week 2014 is all about contraception. Many women struggle to name the 15 methods available to choose from and don't know that there are three methods of emergency contraception (EC) available. There are lots of myths, misconceptions and half-truths out there and if women don't know the facts they are more at risk of unplanned pregnancy. FPA surveys show many women in the UK don't know where to get EC or are too embarrassed. At Sandyford we want to help get rid of the stigma and help you make the right choice for you. Check out our contraception info or our library pages for extra links and resources.

Did you know you can pick up Free Condoms at a variety of locations throughout the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area? A wide range of condoms are available FREE!! Ticketing System @ Sandyford Central

Did you know we've introduced a Ticketing System at Sandyford Central Walk in service? We know there is often a long wait at Sandyford Central Walk-In services, so to make things easier, when you register at reception, you will be given a ticket number and a timeframe of when you should be seen, meaning you can leave the building and come back later without losing your space in the queue.  To find out more visit our Sandyford Central Walk in service page.
