Thrive ~
Childhood sexual abuse exists in varying combinations, duration and intensity. As a child you may have lost all rights to privacy, love, support and even control over your own body. You have spent a lot of your life feeling different, excluded and isolated. Is it time for you to break the silence and talk to someone?

The myth that boys are able to defend themselves has contributed to the difficulty men have in accepting that they were abused. This can prevent men from accessing the help they need to aid recovery.

We all appreciate how culturally difficult it is for men of all ages to ask for help. Our counsellors are dedicated, fully trained and able to help you work through your issues however they are affecting your life now.

You can speak to our receptionist Monday to Friday, who will make an appointment for an initial session. Our reception staff are welcoming, helpful and experienced in dealing with sensitive issues.

Thrive Telephone Counselling Service for male survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

As part of the development of the service, Thrive announces the opening of a telephone counselling service. This service will offer 40 – 45 minute counselling appointments over the telephone. The telephone is staffed by trained counsellors and is completely confidential.

YOU HAVE SURVIVED, NOW IT IS TIME TO THRIVE!
