The Place provides a holistic, one-shop resource for young people that empowers them to make informed choices for their own health and wellbeing. Services at The Place, including information and support, counselling, clinical services and group work, are provided by staff from the Sandyford Initiative and Glasgow City Council's Community Education Department. Outreach work within community-based settings in Glasgow is also linked to The Place.
The Place provides full sexual health services for young people at the Sandyford Initiative as well as satellite clinics in Pollock and Elderpark in Govan. Anyone under the age of 18 can get advice on any health topic as well as on contraception, pregnancy testing and testing for sexual infections. Neighbourhood projects are also available such as Health4U in the east end of Glasgow
(www.h4u-teenhealth.org) and at Castlemilk health spot (www.healthspot.org.uk)

Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Sat 1:00pm - 3:30pm
Wed 1:00pm - 4:00pm - Vulnerable Young Person's Clinic (appointment only)
