This event is aimed at the multi-agency team involved in delivering sexual & reproductive health. In particular, this course would be of interest to General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, doctors, nurses and allied health professionals working or with an interest in sexual and reproductive health.
Ailsa Wylie Memorial Lecture - Dr Heather Currie
Perimenopause, HIV Testing in Primary Care Setting, New Emergency Contraception Update, Implants & IUDs, Gender Identity in Young People, Genital Dermatology in Primary Care and FSRH Update.
Dr Ailsa Wylie, a lead clinician for Sexual Health based in Galashiels, first battled cancer in 2001. She underwent treatment for breast cancer before receiving the all-clear, only to be diagnosed with secondary cancers in her spine and liver and lost her battle in November last year at the age of 49.
The family hope to raise £10,000 for the Margaret Kerr Unit, Borders General Hospital, Melrose, with their "A Year for Ailsa" campaign.
