NHSGGC has this month launched a campaign asking its staff, patients and members of the public to support the organisation to take a stand against homophobia.
The campaign emphasises that it is all our responsibility to ensure that everyone who works for or uses the health service is treated fairly, and that homophobia is no different to, for example, racism or sexism in that regard.
Central to the campaign are the Take a Stand web pages, where people can pledge support for the campaign, send in photographs of themselves with the campaign placard and access information on homophobia and how to tackle it.

Two new booklets for children and young people: What's going on? Your guide to growing and Relationships and Sexual Health  are now available free of charge.
They are packed with useful information, and where to go for help and advice.
