Sandyford local clinics

SANDYFORD SERVICES will close at 4pm on Wednesday 24 December & Wednesday 31 December 2014, and will be CLOSED on the public holidays Thursday 25 & Friday 26 December 2014 and Thursday 1 & Friday 2 January 2015.   Closures of some local clinics may vary - please  check local clinic pages  for details. ARCHWAY services will operate normally over the public holiday period. Emergency contraception will be available from some pharmacies.  Find your nearest pharmacy by searching on NHS 24  or contact NHS Inform on 0800 22 44 88 8am to 10pm, 7 days per week.

Sandyford Hubs offer a wide range of accessible reproductive, emotional and sexual health services for men, women and young people.   Services provided include contraception and emergency contraception, including the fitting and removal of implants and intrauterine methods of contraception; pregnancy testing, information and referral; testing for sexually transmitted infections; testing for HIV and onward referral; free condoms; counselling services; YoungPeople@Sandyford sexual health service for young people aged 17 and under; treatment of some sexually transmitted infections and onward referral for treatment of others.  Some services are only available at certain times so please ask.

Satellites

Sandyford Satellites are sexual and reproductive health clinics for men, women and young people.  They provide confidential information, support and advice plus the following clinical services - contraception and emergency contraception, including implants but excluding the fitting of intrauterine methods of contraception; pregnancy testing and onward referral to other services; testing for sexually transmitted infection for people who do not have symptoms; treatment of some sexually transmitted infections and onward referral for treatment of others; free condoms.  Intrauterine device removal is offered at satellite clinics.   If you have symptoms that suggest you may have a sexually transmitted infection you are welcome to discuss this with the staff but you will usually need to be seen at one of our Sandyford Hubs or Sandyford Central.
