anyone.

can contact the library if having problems accessing the
journals or requiring an article not available through Knowledge
Net.

Health improvement leaflets
Health improvement leaflets are available from the
Public Health Resource Unit. The current directory of health
education publications can be checked at the PHRU
website.
Sandyford staff requiring bulk supplies of
health improvement leaflets to support an event or for
training purposes should contact the library in advance and
we'll organise the resources for you. Please allow sufficient time
for the resources to be ordered and delivered - it can sometimes
take as long as 6 weeks.
Information in other languages
An excellent resource compiled by the library
team. The Translated Patient Information
Database helps you find information leaflets in other
languages. It focuses on reproductive, emotional and sexual health,
in line with the work carried out by the Sandyford.
Click on Sandyford translated
patient information for more details.
This is primarily a resource for use by health professionals and
we would advise that you always check the english language version
of a leaflet for accuracy before passing on the alternative
language version to a patient.
Some of the information on these pages is from non-UK sources
and therefore contact details will need to be deleted and sometimes
prescribing information, medical procedures, legal information will
not be relevant to the UK.
